It’s the fourth day of sanglakalpa adventure and it’s time to visit a new location in the Kinnaurvalley. As soon as you check out of the hotel in Sangla, we will drive towards Kalpa.We would advice lodging at ReckongPeo because it is the district headquarters of Kinnaur that has all the amenities such as ATMS,hotels, petrol Pumps and market.
When you get to Kalpa, you shall be by the royal and holy Mt Kinnaur Kailash, where the monolithic Shiva-ling is placed. For the fun part, go to the popular Kalpa Suicide point. You can as well hike to the two quaint hamlets near kalpa, Roghi and Kothi. Have a peaceful night rest after an amazing day
Be prepared for a far drive to Tabo which has an age long monastery of the spitiregion. On the way, provisions will be made available to stop at Pooh and Nako village for you to acclimatize with the lovely village view. There will also be a stop at Gue village which an ancient five hundred year old monk’s mummy in a monastery. When you arrive at Tabo, you will be checked in into the hotel and get ret to see the Tabo monastery and head for Kaza
When you have seen the popular and renowned Tabo monastery, you will head to Kaza.It is not a long distance journey but we will have a stopover at Dhankar village for a short time.Dhankar monastery is situated between the offshoots of a cliff and looks likely to be falling into the gorge anytime but it has been standing tall for hundreds of years. After lunch at Dhankar village, you will leave for Kaza. If time is still on your side after lodging in the hotel, then you may proceed to the Key Monastery and Kibber village.
On this day we would be exploring the remaining places in kaza. A visit to Kee Monastery and Komik village will be explored. A visit to Asia’s highest human made bridge that connects chicham village to Kibber, the Chicham Bridge. Langza will be the last place that will be visited. At the end of a fun filled experience of kaza, you will retire to the hotel to have a sound sleep.
In order to get to chandratal, we will pass through Kunzum Pass and get to Batal using a special car which would take you to the lake (Usually a four wheeled driven car).Before we arrive at chandratal, we will have a stopover at Lossar.The dangerous paths to the lake will be covered by the special vehicles which will be driven by well experienced drivers.Get ready for a heaven on earth experience with the beautiful turquoise-colored water of the lake. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountain and this gives it a beautiful background. Tonight you will sleep at a campsite underneath the stars
After a good brunch close to the campsite, you will drive towards Keylong through Gramphu, Koksar, and Sissu. Get to Keylong in the evening and relax for the night there.
A great day it will be today and we will be exploring Kylong.The spot to be visited are: Kardang Monastery, Shaspur Monastery, Tayul Monastery, Zero point, Udaipur and Trilokinath Temple. The night will be for sweet sleep after an adventurous day.
You will leave the hotel very early in the morning after which you will have breakfast on the way. There will be a stopover at Rohtang Pass. Various activities like snowboarding, skiing and sledding will be enjoyed. When you get to Manali in the evening, you will check in to your rooms and then walk around the city before you rest at night.
On the twelfthday, when you finish eating breakfast, you will drive towards chandigarh through Kullu, there will be stop overs at Hanogidevi temple and Pandoh Dam. You will get to Chandigarh by evening. This marks the end of the KinnaurSpiti Valley tour from Chandigarh.
